Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team celebrates Pride with ‘We Belong Together’ event

On Tuesday 24th June, Racing Pride was excited to join our partners at Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team to host a Pride celebration for our members at their Technology Campus.

This was an incredible opportunity to celebrate Pride month by bringing over 50 Racing Pride members to the Silverstone home of Aston Martin F1, our very first partners in Formula 1. These members came from around the world, including visitors to the UK from Switzerland and even California.

Over the course of the pride celebration, Racing Pride members had the opportunity to explore the Campus, even seeing the legendary Adrian Newey at work, before enjoying an insightful panel discussion hosted by Chloe Farkas (@levanawolf) and exclusive behind the scenes insights into the workings of the team. There was also a very special live acoustic performance from Fred Roberts – one of Attitude Magazine’s LGBTQ+ Trailblazers 2025.

The panel featured Racing Pride Director Matthew Harriet Randall, aerodynamicist and Racing Pride Ambassador Millie Minter, Creative Director Richie Kuncyusz, and Chief Marketing Officer Rob Bloom. Team Principal Andy Cowell was among the senior leaders present for this important discussion, which reaffirmed the team’s genuine values-driven commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion.

The day also offered networking opportunities to bring together Racing Pride members with staff from across the Aston Martin team, including partners of the team and members of the internal I AM inclusion network. We learned a lot from these conversations and it was a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Racing Pride and Aston Martin’s Make a Mark ESG initiatives.

This Pride month more than ever, it is clear that the LGBTQ community needs more than visibility. Collaboration, respectful and open communication, and building connections are crucial to ensure meaningful inclusion whether in the workplace or in the motorsport fan community. We’re very proud of hosting this event, and bringing our members together with the AMF1 team to put these values into action.
