Racing Pride attends Bennetts British Superbike event

Racing Pride members had the amazing opportunity to attend the recent Bennetts British Superbike event at Donington Park as OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing team guests. This appearance marked the first member event Racing Pride has held in the world of two-wheeled motorsport.

Our members were lucky enough to join Racing Pride CEO Richard Morris, Ambassador Jordan Rand, and Community Champion Chloe Farkas for an exciting day at the circuit. Racing Pride members enjoyed the chance to meet riders and mechanics at the eventful, as well as experience an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the team’s garage. Racing Pride guests and members were also treated to team hospitality by OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing and, of course, thrilling on-track action at Donington Park.

The team was kind enough to support Racing Pride by displaying Racing Pride banners and information in their merchandise area. OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing helped bring light to Racing Pride’s journey and our mission to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion across all areas of motorsport by spreading awareness of our movement.

Racing Pride CEO & Co-Founder Richard Morris said: “It’s a really important step for us to have attended this British Superbike Championship event as it’s the first time we have had a presence like this in motorcycle racing.

“We’re very grateful to OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing for inviting and hosting us and for giving us a platform to start a dialogue in this area of motorsport. It was a wonderful experience for our members as well as an opportunity to initiate conversations in the paddock, and it’s something we firmly hope to build on.”
