During the United States Grand Prix weekend, a group of Racing Pride’s ambassadors, community champions and members came together in Austin after being generously invited by our partners Oracle Red Bull Racing to experience the F1 team garage and paddock hospitality at the Circuit of the Americas. This was a fantastic opportunity for the group to get a behind the scenes look of how the team operates at the heart of Formula 1.

While exploring the team’s garage on Thursday, the legendary David Croft – best known as Crofty, the voice of Formula 1 – came to chat with our group, and he once again expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community and the work that Racing Pride does to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion.

That evening, supported by GayRealEstate.com, Racing Pride held an event in downtown Austin, where we welcomed our friends from across the Formula 1 paddock as well as our ambassadors, community champions, Racing Pride members, and the local community. The event had an excellent positive atmosphere and was a big success.

Friday brought another opportunity for our team, with a small group of representatives being invited by our partners Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team as guests in their Paddock Club suite. This gave them opportunity to see the car up close in the pit lane, as well as a fantastic viewing spot for the on-track action.

We’re pleased to say that while we were in the paddock, we were also able to spend time in the BWT Alpine F1 Team garage and to meet with all of the Formula One teams that we have been working with.

Racing Pride is a rapidly growing international community, and it is fantastic for us to be able to bring people together like this at Grand Prix events in different countries across the globe. We are extremely grateful to our partners for helping to make this happen.
